Christina is a stay at home mother who has had a wide variety of jobs over the last 30 years including Receptionist, Personal Assistant, Library Technician, Taxation Officer, Call Centre Operator and Accounts Officer. She has also worked as a volunteer in the areas of Aged Care and Youth.
Being a Mother to a young son has meant limited opportunities to volunteer her services in person, instead, Christina serves ACTION THIS DAY as a committee member and has been instrumental in obtaining corporate sponsorship as well as generating interest in the Australian schools.

Alison first traveled to Kenya in 2008 where she met Brian and kept in touch with him while he subsequently founded ACTION THIS DAY. Alison works as a Ministerial Advisor to the Tasmanian Government, and permanently fundraises by selling chocolates in a variety of places. Alison is passionate about Africa and works to raise the profile of the charity as widely as possible. Alison misses the Kookaburra Community School every single day, and she and Peter plan to return some time in the future to catch up with the students, teachers and community.
